Hop on Hop off Tour Bus – Daily
The City Sightseeing Bus is an open-top bus that runs daily in Vilamoura and Albufeira, hop-on and off at any of the 45 stops along the route.
Places of interest include Albufeira Old Town, the beaches (Oura, St Eulalia, Pescadores, São Rafael and more), Albufeira Marina and the Pau da Bandeira viewpoint.
Winter Benagil Boat Trips
Winter is usually a quiet time for boat trips in Vilamoura and most operators are closed. There are only a couple of options available such as private charter or a speed boat. The best option in winter is getting a boat trip from Albufeira Marina to visit the caves. The Belize catamaran is a good choice for a three hour trip to Benagil.
Vilamoura to Seville Tour
Visit the beautiful Spanish town of Seville with its impressive historical sites. One of the top sights is the Real Alcazar, classified as UNESCO world heritage and used as a setting for Games of Thrones. Fans of the series will recognise the Water Gardens of Dorne.
The Seville City Tour and Shopping departs at 6am from Vilamoura (pick-up from your hotel) and is a full day tour returning around 7pm. Available every Monday and Thursday.
Vilamoura to Fátima Bus Tour
The Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fátima is located in central Portugal, 340km from Vilamoura. It is one of the most important Catholic pilgrimage sites in the world. Pilgrims, devotees and tourists make up the 4+ millions annual visitors to the Shrine.
The bus tour to Fátima is a long ride but this is the easiest way to visit. There are no direct buses or trains from Vilamoura to Fátima.

On of the most popular things to do in Vilamoura on a Saturday morning is visit Loulé and the beautiful Loulé Historic Market. The market is open everyday except Sundays, but on Saturdays you can also visit the Farmers’ Market and the Gypsy Flea Market.

Évora Day Trips
Visit Évora, the historical capital of the Alentejo region. UNESCO has classified the entire town as World Heritage and refers to Évora as a museum-city.
Famous sites include the Roman Temple of Diana, the Chapel of Bones and the Gothic style cathedral dating from 1186. Évora is located 200km North of Vilamoura and about a 2,5 hour drive.
Safari Tours
Leave Vilamoura for a day trip that is literally off the beaten track. Explore the Algarve countryside on a full-day or half-day jeep safari tour. Travel the off-road trails, visit villages and try out the local produce and food.
